4 Useful websites for your business

There are so many websites out there that offer useful programs for business, but we have decided to put together a list of 4 websites that we love and think is so useful for you and your business. We hope you find them helpful!

1. Free Pik – Freepik is a website that offers lovely free stock photos, web icons, backgrounds and much more. There are hundreds to browse through and there is something for everything. Note that if you use a Freepik image you have to add a piece of content somewhere on the page where you have used the image with the authors name and link.  If you want to use the images and not have to include the authors details you can set up a premium account where you pay around £6.70 per month which gives you full access to all imagery and you can download a max of 100 images per day, which we think is pretty good!

2. Woo Rank – Woo Rank is a website that allows you to see how good your website SEO is, you just type in your web address and it then lets you know your overall SEO score, as well as a list of what areas you passed on and which areas you need to improve on to help your SEO ranking. This part of the website is free, however if you would like a more detailed report you have to pay around £33 / month. However, we feel the free element is pretty good to get you started and to help you improve your websites SEO.

3. Buffer – Buffer is a social media management website similar to Hootsuite that allows you to manage all your social media networks in one place, you can add accounts and share a post across all the networks. It also has a great feature that gives you suggestion posts, so if you are a little stuck on what to post you can go to the suggestion posts which are related to your business and post them!

You can connect to up to 5 social networks for FREE, it even tells you the analytics of your posts for each of the networks and finally there is an app for this website on Android and Apple so you can set your posts on the go rather than just being able to do it at your computer. We can’t recommend this program enough, we hope you give it go 🙂

4. Canva – We are pretty sure by now that most people know about Canva, it has been everywhere over the last couple of months and is becoming more and more popular each day. Just in case you haven’t heard of Canva, Canva is a website that allows you to create artwork for just about anything for your business, from posters to business cards, Facebook covers to social media posts, this website has you covered!

The thing we love most about Canva is the social media posts section, you can choose from different preset dimensions that will give you the correct size for your social media sites such as Facebook. The program also gives you a range of font styles, images, photos and backgrounds to choose from, it also gives you the option of choosing from some preset designs that you can alter to suit your business. You can also upload your own imagery and place it into the designs.

There are some images, vectors etc on Canva that do have a cost but it is only $1.00! so that’s about 0.66p, what a bargain is that! Canva is a website we highly recommend you check out if you haven’t already, it been make your life so much easier!
