Wellgood Wellbeing needed a website that was all singing, all dancing. This was a new business – and one that was going to have an enormous impact. It therefore needed an online presence that not only represented their brand in the most electric way possible, but also spoke to (and supported) Wellgood Wellbeing’s community to the highest degree.
Because Wellgood Wellbeing was born to stand out. Described as a ‘bullsh*t free social enterprise wellbeing membership platform for businesses and individuals who are passionate about making a tangible difference to the wellbeing of others as well as themselves’ it was clear from the start that this website needed to seriously stand out.
Wellgood Wellbeing had already started creating a website through Wix – however, they quickly realised that it was super limited in terms of what they wanted to achieve. Rather than downplay what Wellgood Wellbeing was all about, Zoe (the brains and heart behind it all), made the decision to start again. She wanted to not only get it right, but exceptional.
We sat down to run through her priorities and made an action plan alongside a clear timeline. Next, it was time to flex our creative muscles.
Wellgood Wellbeing’s website speaks for itself – it’s seriously impressive (even if we do say so ourselves!).
At the core of the business is the membership programme, and so we used a WordPress plugin called MemberPress alongside custom functionality to bring it to life. The business also ran on a subscription service, and so we integrated this allowing customers to sign up directly through the website and then access their level of membership area depending on the subscription they had purchased.
Cultivating a sense of community was a big focus for Zoe – so we integrated the website with MailChimp to kickstart a welcome sequence once a customer had signed up to the membership (which was separated out into segments based on the different membership groups).
In addition, we added a function where customers could donated a member of 1,2 or 3 months which would then be handed to someone on the ‘wellbeing waiting list’ who perhaps couldn’t afford a membership themselves.
These fantastic functions combined with a vibrant, unique brand all came together to produce a website that ticked all the boxes, commanded attention and turned silent snoopers into Wellgood Wellbeing’s most avid fans.
